Sustainability is a core value of our group of companies. We are proud to actively contribute to reducing our environmental impact and minimizing our ecological footprint. By implementing various measures, we attach great importance to offering sustainable solutions.

We are strongly committed to sustainability and environmental protection.

We use district heating to heat our buildings.
By expanding our photovoltaic system to 800kWp, our electricity requirements are mainly covered by solar energy.

Construction of 10 new charging stations for electric vehicles (4 of which are public)

Sustainable contract manufacturing and use of recyclable materials such as aluminum and steel

Our CO2 footprint

Together with ClimatePartner [Link: https://www.climatepartner.com], we have calculated our Corporate Carbon Footprint (CCF), i.e. the CO2 footprint of our company. The calculation is based on the leading standards of the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and the international ISO standards.
This includes all emissions from Scope 1 and 2 as well as most emissions from Scope 3. Scope 1 includes emissions from self-generated heating and cooling as well as the vehicle fleet. Scope 2 includes emissions from purchased heat, electricity and cooling. Scope 3 emissions are indirect emissions within the value chain. Here we take into account, for example, purchased goods and services, operational waste, business travel, employee commuting and upstream emissions from heat, the vehicle fleet and electricity.

Sustainable contract manufacturing

Another sustainable practice that we focus on is contract manufacturing. Through this form of cooperation with external partners, we minimize waste of resources and optimize production processes. This enables us to manufacture our products efficiently and without unnecessary environmental impact.

Short internal processes are another focus of our sustainability efforts. By eliminating inefficient processes and optimizing our communication and coordination, we reduce the consumption of resources and cut unnecessary emissions. At the same time, we contribute to improving work processes and increasing efficiency.
